In this study, using a toolbox derived from the sociology of literature, discourse analysis, and semiotics, we trace the complex map of tensions where the magazine Babel (1988-1991), one of the main platforms from which the Argentine literary canon was constructed during the post-dictatorship period, deployed its game of inclusions and exclusions, transgressions, inheritances, and impostures.
